The usual requirements are primary IDs (driver's license, passport, etc.) and ID pictures. If you are an expat I think you need more documents. It would be best to check with the bank itself. If you want to open a saving account any bank, the requirement for this act as under: 1) You should have your I.D. proof. 2) Present residance proof . 3) Signature proof 4) 2 pastport size photograph 5) Reference/ Guaranter who is the exiting customer of the bank. 6) Minmum money like Rs. 500/- to 5000/- or US $10 to $15 depending upon the bank. These are the basic requirements for open a new saving account in bank

Each country outside the US has its own very specific requirements for account opening. Typically you will need your passport and possibly a second form of id. In addition, you must be at least 18 years old and will have to provide an address, contact information, source of income and so on. Unfortunately I dont think BofA has branches in the Philippines. Account opeining outside the US is limited to corporate clients. They partner with local banks outside the US for ATM transactions. If you are filipino, the usual bank requirements in opening an account are 3 valid IDs & 1 picture only. If foreigner, passport, other valid IDs, ID picture and other docs that either you are working in the philippines or have residency certificate

Isn't there a branch in Makati? If so, check with them. If you are not a Filipino, you will have to present your passport.
