You've missheard the word. It is pronounced blitz-kreeg but it spelled blitzkrieg. It is a German word that means "lightning war" and it involves the German Luftwaffe (air force) and the Panzers (tanks) in unison to quickly overrun the enemy as Germany did in Poland beginning on September 1, 1939
