There's no reason to be scared. The tampon can't go anywhere and it is not really stuck. It may feel that way, but it's not. Just reach in there and get a grip on it and slowly remove it. Try deep breathing while you do it to stay relaxed, otherwise the muscles will fight against you and it will be uncomfortable. You should be able to locate the string if you feel about a little, and give that a tug- but otherwise, you can just pinch it hard and tug. If all else fails, you should call for your mother to assist you.

Go to your nearest ER. They see this and other equally embarrassing stuff on a routine basis. They'll have a look (a doctor, with a nurse right there to protect you, the doctor and the hospital) and use a couple of specially instruments to remove it. It's not a big deal.

And for a while at least, go back to using pads. I know they're a hassle, but it's better than what you're going through now.

The best thing to do is relax. The inside of your vagina is lined with muscle and when you get nervous and tense so do these muscles. The reproductive system is a closed system and a tampon cant get lost in your body. I know it sounds gross but relax, lay down, and reach inside of your vagina and feel for it. The length of the vagina is around 5 inches long and it is difficult for something to get from your vagina to your uterus especially something as big as a tampon. If you dont feel it go into the doctor just to be sure but it could have come out going to the bathroom and you might not have noticed it. good luck

If you have pulled on the string and it won't come out then I suggest you go to the dr. about this. You can develop Toxic Shock Syndrome. It's not something to play around with.

What happened to the string attached to it???? Can you not pull it out? You need to get in there and get it out... You shoved it in too far...You are only suppose to go in as far, when the end of the applicator is at the beginning of your opening.

If you can't get it out yourself...you might have to get assistance, or go to the doctor...

Sorry sweetie!

squat down in the shower and stick your hand up in your vagina.
Tampons can only go so far and you can pull it out youself...trust me, you can do it...then don't use them again till you're a bit more confident. (watch the fingernails and don't scratch yourself inside )
