i have a bouqet of flowers, should i leave them wrapped up in the sack to hold the moisture in or does the plant need fresh air?

Leave them wrapped and put them in the refrigerator. They do need moisture.........putting them in water would be best, but you can also wrap the bottoms of the stems in a wet paper towel and put a baggie over it.

Like everyone else is saying, cut the stems (unless it involves completely unwrapping them) at a 45 degree angle about half an inch from the end, and put them in the fridge open to the air. leaving them in the bag might make them wilt. I would also wrap the stems in wet paper towels and put the end on a plate or something, if you don't have the room to stand them up right. that way they get their water, and you don't get a mess.
there is also special powders you can mix with water to keep the flowers alive longer that you might look into.

Do not leave them in a bag, put the stem end of the flower in water and leave them unwrapped.

put them in the fridge unwrapped, with tips cut and an angle and place in water.

Put them in the refrigerator. That's where they store them at flower shops.
