My husband and I are ttc #1. This month we had sex once about 4 days before ovulation, once the day before, and then the day of. I used an ovulation predictor as well as preseed. For about 3 days my nipples were VERY sore, but now the sensation has tapered off. My nipples also appear to be a bit darker and larger, and the areolas themselves seem to have grown a little in size. I also have those bumps on my areola, which I've had before but are now more pronounced. I also spat out a lot of blood once when brushing my teeth. I heard bleeding gums are also a sign.
I'm scared because I was sure I was pregnant but now I don't feel like it anymore. I tested last night, but it was negative. I'm supposed to start my period tomorrow, so I'm going to test again in the morning. I'm just really nervous and excited and hoping that this sounds like pregnancy to some of you.

Darkening of aereolas is a big sign of pregnancy. Tender, swollen, itchy breasts is a huge sign as well. My mother had five kids, and she said with everyone of them she her breasts were extremely itchy. Your skin may feel different, sensitive almost, and may even appear different.

some of the symptoms you described are more common farther along into the pregnancy. as far as even 4 months ... that is the more common time for bleeding gums for example. sore breasts are common right away so this could be a sign ( mine were VERY sore about a week after i got pregnant). the darkening of your areola and the little bumps normally doesnt happen again till about 3 or 4 months.
false negetives are common. i suggest you test at least 5 days after you expected period. that way it gives you time to see if you really are before you waste all those tests :)

my fiance and i had sex on the day 1 too but i didnt KNOW i was pregnant until i was 8 days late and then the tests still came out funny the cross would come through as a negetive sign but then a light pink line would show up and then after 6 tests like that david decided to get the ones that say 'pregnant' or 'not pregnant' and they came out pregnant i didnt really have nipple changes but about 4 months i developed a 'fat pack' right by my armpit. it was milk. you may be pregnant just keep a close eye on everything and watch your complection you face may change good luck

If you read the box it will tell you ( pregnancy test box) that testing before your missed period will only produce a positive response in like 69% of women. If you are really anxious ask a doctor to due a blood test. They can tell if you are 6 days pregnant ! Good Luck

I also experienced these things farther along into my pregnancy. Maybe they are a sign of your period coming. Have you ever felt these things before? If you are expecting your period tomorrow, wait one more week. If you still haven't gotten your period yet, then take a HPT or call your Dr. for blood work.

Bleeding gums,sore breast,dark nipples.........definitely signs of pregnancy.I'd wait a few days and retest.Your hcg levels will double every few days.Good luck.

The pregancy test is a good indicator if you are pregnant. You also have heightened smell awareness if pregnant.
