In games Iverson has played in for Denver, they are 8-12.

In games Iverson has played in alongside Anthony (when Denver would supposedly be great), the Nuggets are 2-5.

The 76ers had only 5 wins with Iverson, they were way out of the playoff picture. They now have 17 wins. They are 5-5 in their last ten games (versus the Nuggets being 4-6).

Now Iverson is hurt. Is this trade officially a bust for the Nuggets, and a great move for the 76ers?

Living in Philadelphia and being a 76ers fan since the days of The G Man Mike Gminiski, I can tell you this : Good luck.

You should be expecting a player who won't play with nagging injuries or the ever classic 'flu like symptoms'. He only passes when he gets stuck in the air when driving to the lane, plays no defense, and is a 35 percent shooter from the field. Sure, he does all sorts of razzle dazzle but at the end of the day does he make his team better?

Absolutely not. BTW, thanks for Andre Miller. What a great player that guy is.

I personally think that it was great for both teams. 76ers needed to get rid of him anyway and now they will have room in their salary to get 2 or 3 decent players that will over all help the balance of the team.

As far as Denver, the only reason I would say that it was a bust is because I believe that they were hoping that he would come and just automatically save the team and carry them to the playoffs. That just isn't the case with a big trade like that, there has to be time to adjust. I think that next year though, and even the end of this one, they will be pretty much unstoppable.

This is a tough one simply because you have two great players trying to co-exist. The biggest issue i see with this is lack of chemistry. They're both go to guys in the clutch with Iverson having more experience in that area due to age. I wouldn't call it a bust just yet but it looks like the nuggets will have to choose between Melo and Iverson. The choice should be simple-Melo!

Iverson has got to play the leading point guard role while Melo has got to play the usual forward he is. I think iverson just needs to tone his game down a little and let melo take over. Iverson should not try to do anything fancy. He is not the player he used to be. Melo should still play with energy with iverson being the assist man if they want to win, just like steve nash. So to answer your question, so far yes, it has been a bust so far, but we'll see.

Joe Dumars isn't a genius.he didnt imagine that A.I. is alot poorer than Chanuncey Billups.3 factors shot is .......(LOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!)and with A.I. he didnt led Denver to the first round of Playoffs.even as Billups is An MVP in 2004 Playoffs and he led detroit to the finals playoff because 2002 and identity say Pistons will be weaker with the aid of A.I.

unless melo or AI or someone becomes a real good passer then it will b a good trade. someone else like... JR smith or Steve Blake becomes like Steve Nash or J-Kidd then it will be a good trade.
