I wanted to know since I am going to start playing bass guitar in a week or two

ibanez.. i did buy a first act guitar.. it was horrible.. didnt sound right.. the frets dug into the bottom of my hand and cut me up.. then again could have been a defect.. the guitar itself wasnt too bad.. just the amp was crap... id go with ibanez though..

First Act brand. They are really cheap and sound pretty good. Don't let other tell you that they are junk. I bought a First Act guitar and it sounds as good as a professional one.

I got the First Act set and it was perfect for learning.

Try to get a Rogue, you should be able to find one with a practice amp for little money.
