I noticed that whenever I mention Islamic extremists or Muslim militants, I immediately start to get thumbs down. Regardless of how benign or non-confrontational my response, those words will get negative responses. Now I can’t believe that anybody out there thinks phrases like Islamic extremists or Muslim militants do not accurately describe organizations such as Al Qaeda, Taliban, Hamas, or Hezbollah, so who is giving these thumbs down? Has anyone else noticed this?
Is it possible the Islamic extremists are monitoring this site and trying to sway public opinion by immediately voting down any answer that can even remotely be negative towards them? After all, they’re posting propaganda and horrible atrocities on YouTube, why couldn’t they be here also? Are we being watched?

I have sometimes noticed that though theie might only be 3 or 4 answers to a certain question, mostly agreeing with the asker in the cases that I am thinking of, their will be more thumbs downs than there are answers. I think that some people with nothing better to do just give thumbs down to answers they do not like. I do believe that the site is monitored but who cares.

No theres just people who are so anti this anti that they go ahead and thumbs down your answers if they dont agree.
But as far as being watched -- yes. Everyone of your computer entries searches and websites is being monitored. Everytime you search google its monitored and stored in a mainframe computer that gathers all data pertinent to you.
Every one of your yahoo answers is montiored and stored.
they did a piece of it on one of the news investigations.
Companies buy this information from other companies who store it. AND Authorities like FBI and Police pay for this data since it frees them from liability of gathering it themselves
Detailed info too.
So, I guess even on the internet big brother is watching

Yes. Remember this is an international forum. There are people from all over the world here. This includes many Muslims. Based on some of the Q&A I've seen, I'm sure that many of them sympathize with the terrorists.

You have a good point there.
Honestly, I think 'yes'..We are being watched by them. It could be anyone, maybe its me..maybe its you. Or maybe its the next person who answer your question or the next person after. Who really knows.But I don't know for sure what are their responds. What ever their cause is, they are everywhere..watching...

They can't drink alcohol or fraternize with loose women, so they have to do something!
Personally, I think God would be a whole lot happier with them if they would lighten up and stop looking for fights!

probably those people who gave you thumbs down are people who don't like muslims. and it's possible too that all questions & answers here are monitored!
