Communist countries that brag about having all the things that you mentioned don't tell you the truth which is that all their citizens receiving all the benefits what really want is to get the hell out of this country. Examples: The former Soviet Union, East Germany, all of Eastern Europe, North Korea, Cuba and if you remember when the Sandinista took power in Nicaragua, people flew to Miami by the thousands. What really motivate people is freedom and is the one thing that you don't mention about having it

You asked this before and when it was explained to you, you just ignored the replies. There's a damn good reason we can't have a company like Google in the education or healthcare industry. How much are you willing to pay to not die? If you answered anything other than 'everything,' you're lying. Supply and demand cannot control the price. That's the main reason healthcare costs so much. People will always be willing to pay anything. Edit: Damn, you're dumb. The ACA hasn't even gone into effect yet. It's also the Republican "solution" to the healthcare issue. Make people buy insurance so they won't be unable to pay for emergency care. The only real solution is socialize the entire system and get rid of the profit motive. Edit: The difference is how much is someone willing to pay to sent a letter? Not that much. Their life is not on the line. Are you really so stupid that you do not see the difference between the post office and an ER?

Well nothing would motivate me towards pursuing a career unless I truly enjoyed it, but I would be incredibly thankful for the opportunity to just enjoy life without having to worry about the economical aspect of things. My love for nature would motivate me to explore anything and everything I could get my hands on. Take frequent camping trips, traverse the world, make sure to experience everything that can be experienced in a person's lifetime. Yeah, that would be a dream come true :-)

Nothing in this world is Free , so motivation should be found inside your own self, not in what some would assume would be free.

Happiness motivated me, inspiration. from others is also a great motivation

Hi Giggly. More importantly, if all of the things in life were 'free', then WHO would provide those things??? Simply, why would you, me, or others work at all if everything was free? Therefore, NOTHING can be free. Only irrational socialists believe in this irrational-ism.

These are compulsions and not motivation. Our real motivation comes from the desire to excel, to enhance self-esteem and from the sublime joy we get out of our creativity and satisfying our curiosity.

All of your needs would be met leaving little to strive for. Apathy, discontent, laziness, lethargy, etc. would ensue. Lives would waste away. Dunkenness and other excesses would rule because of the simple fact that no one had anything better to do than to just exist.
