Everything I have actually typed stays in the memory somehow. Its not the history that I want to clear. Any time you are at the main search on my comp. there is an arrow button that you click on and it brings up the sites and it will not let me delete them.

I am assuming you are using IE 7...

All you have to do is click the tools button on the top right corner of IE, then choose delete browsing history, then choose Delete all button at the bottom. A pop up will show confirming that you want to delete your browsing history, also there will be a box that asks if you want to delete files and setting stored by add ons. Check this box, and then hit yes. The deleting might take a few minutes depending on how much is stored in your temporary internet files. Note that this will erase all your passwords and setting saved on your web browser.
