I can't believe they would not imagine that american guys will be attracted to them. So they come to usa, and dress with this sexy fashion... I'm wondering do they Believe that usa guys will not look at them and be attracted.. or do they know it and want to get american guy's attention and that's why they are dressing like that.
I mean, if you go into a country that you believe is so dangerous ( Many japanese believe America is dangerous and there is alot of violence), why would you dress so sexy and risk being raped or whatever by crazy violent people.

I think the Japanese girls believe what they read and see in American media, (tv and magazines) about what American females wear and dress.
Celebrity females and fashion magazines typically are shown in the media wearing very sexy clothing. I think they base their perception that ALL American females look and wear such fashions ALL THE TIME. They want the attention, just like the celebrities.
I think once they arrive, the are in for a big surprise.

i personally feel that they wear the clothing to attract the american man, possibly for marriage or an invite to stay in this country. but then again alot of women dress sexy from many different cultures, even us american girls dress provocative so i guess it just depends on the womans mission.
