Or breasts, thighs, I mean part specific cloning. Imagine an assembly line of chicken legs all from cloned stem cells. No slaughter no cleaning no raising chickens. Pure profits. The whole industry would change. No feeding chickens, no bird-flu standardised taste I can see KFC sending their scientists to the lab in their pajamas right now.

This is done already. A human ear is grown on the back of a mice. After extraction you can re grow the teeth by certain growth hormones.

It isn't refined now, as theres still a lot we don't know about how stem cells work. If it came around a couple of years from now? I'd eat it. ^_^ Question is, would a vegetarian?

No, because I don't think think you can specify just the skeleton or muscles of the leg etc. to be created from the stem cells.

No, it is impossible. because embryo contains 2n number of chromosomes.It will contain hundreds of genes. A particular gene specifiy the growth of the chicken leg.
