What is the alternate ending in the movie "the wicker man" ?

I rented it a few weeks ago, but now I saw it in blockbuster and it said "shocking alternate ending" I thought the original ending was shocking enough!

I rented it and watched both endings......the only differences....

1. in one version they show his legs being broken, they don't show it in the other version.

2. after the "wicker man" burns and crashes.....they show two of the women (nick cages former fiancee and leelee sobieski's character) in a bar picking up two guys---leading you to believe they are continuing looking for sacrifices.

Everything else was the same.
