I'd take a blizzard over a hurricane any day. A blizzard is probably not going to destroy a house, where a hurricane could. Snow is much less destructive than a wall of water coming at you.

Since I hate the cold, and can never seem to get warm enough and I grew up and live in hurricane territory . . . HURRICANE!!
I've never heard of a 'blizzard party', but there have been plenty of hurricane parties!! Where do you think the great drink 'hurricane' came from. If it's a choice between a generator or a bottle of rum, I take the rum any day!

Duhhhh...I thought you asked "what would I rather be?"....so here are my ...ah....answers...
If I was a hurricane I would rip through and cause devastation and then afterward I would look back and good "dawn! Did I do all that?" And then I would feel like sh*t!
If I was a BLIZZARD I could freeze everything just as it is and the do whatever I want to do for a while and nothing to regret because after the thaw all would be the same but just a bit soggy

I'll take a blizzard any day been in many . I've also been in 3 hurricanes . I got luckly with all 3 by the time they were done destroying most of FL and when they got to Tallahassee there weak!

Assuming I have enough food (and am in a house with heat) I would choose the blizzard. As much as I hate snow, at least it does not destroy your house like a hurricane can.

depends on how strong a hurricane and where I was (on the beach??). probably a blizzard because you can survive if you just have heat a hurricane can blow your whole house away.

If those are the only two choices (roll eyes), I'll chose a hurricane. They are briefer. And I probably have a cellar to hide in...seeing that I live in hurrican country.
