Creationists say that Creationism is right. Then they say that you'll go to Hell if you don't believe it.
Proponents of evolution (i.e., real scientists) don't similarly insist that evolution is right. Instead, they say that evolution theory has passed all the tests so far, that it has survived, in adapted form, all efforts to falsify it.
Evolution theory has been winnowed of incorrect assumptions that were made in the beginning. It began on a plausible scientific basis, and the testing given to it has, by finding the errors, only made it better.
Creationism began as an attempt to prove that the god Elohim (the god in the Bible) exists. Its every dogma is intended to support that preconceived conclusion. Creationists have not only not made any tests whereby the existence of god might be falsified, they have not, to my knowledge, never even proposed what such a test might consist of.
Hence, Creationism still contains all of the errors, all the incorrect assumptions, that it had at the beginning. And Creationists have the brazen gall to point at instances in which scientists have tested evolution, found a problem, and amended the theory to correct the problem, and declare such instances to be proof of evolution's fallaciousness.
That's like saying that the only honest people are the ones who have never said something that wasn't true, intentionally or not. Nobody actually believes such a thing. And anyone who speaks as if he believes it is himself a liar. When Creationists find fault with evolution because evolution contains unexplained gaps, they are finding fault with integrity. When Creationists find fault with evolution because some of evolution's early assumptions were found to be false and were corrected, they are finding fault with improvement. In casting blame in that way, Creationists endeavour to deceive gullible people.

Belief in a particular creation myth has nothing to do with truth. These myths were created by primitive cultures to explain the mysterious and have no connection to how things really work. Science is a brutal contest of ideas where every hypothesis must survive constant testing and challenge or else be discarded. A theory is an idea that has survived the challenge and reigns as the best model of how things work.
To say that two mutually exclusive ideas are correct is ridiculous. It is no different from saying that both the following are true: the world is a flat disk resting on the back of elephants standing on turtles and that the earth is a rocky sphere orbiting a star in a vast universe. Both can’t be true. One is supported by observations while the other was cooked up by an ancient people with no way of conceiving the size and age of the universe.
Religion is based on belief in that which has no proof. Science deals with facts and observations. It doesn’t matter how grand your idea is. It doesn’t matter how smart you are. It doesn’t care what you believe. If your idea doesn’t stand up to experimental testing, then it’s wrong.

It does not matter what I believe, as the truth does not care about my beliefs and it will be true, regardless of what I believe. Even if I totally refuted evolutionary theory tomorrow; it would still be supported by overwhelming evidence. Creationists make the mistake of thinking that theory is totally overthrown all the time; this is far from the truth. We still use Newtonian physics on earth, though Einsteinium theory is more refined for spacial measurements. The theory of evolution by natural selection has been refined and may be refined even more; but the basic concepts are fact. Allele frequencies change over time and every year you need a flu shot, as the virus has been selected anew every year. Creation has not one iota of evidence to support it. Believe it if you will, but do not propose this false dichotomy again. There is no; " creation or evolution " choice.
PS eri, you paint a very graphic picture; quite amusing.

You can't ask which is right.. it's a matter of opinion. And who has the right to say someone's beliefs are wrong?
Personally, I believe that God created us, but through evolution. He did both.. and He knew it would happen.

Both of them are equally right...It really depends if ur more scientific or religious
Religious point of view- Creation
Scientific Point of view - Evolution
I believe in both... and I think that the creator himself has made Evolution possible... Life was started by God... even if it was just a small prokaryote!!!

It's not a matter of belief. It's a matter of accepting the overwhelming evidence, or sticking your head in the sand and trying not to choke as you sing 'LA LA LA LA LA' at the top of your lungs.

Personally I believe in creation.... I believe in God and that He is in charge of all things, that He sent His Son for us so that we will not be damned to an eternal hell. With only having to believe in Him...and I'm sorry for those that don't. Do you have home insurance? car insurance? life insurance??.... Jesus is my insurance that I know I am going to heaven... why do you have any kind of insurance? JUST IN CASE!!! You may pay insurance all your life and never use it. What have you lost for believing in God and Jesus? Really believing now! It is FREE!!! You asked, I gave my opinion and I'll get off my soap box....I'm not perfect, I sin everyday... and ask for His forgiveness and He grants it.
