Well its really about where you are in life. But here are some things to consider. If you have your children when you are younger (21-25ish) your body is in its prime baby making stage, you have more energy to play with them, you get to have a life after your kids grow up (i.e. my parents had me and my brother in their early 20s and now we are grown and they are in their mid 40s enjoying their lives together). If you have children when your older you tend to have more financial security but less energy, its harder on your body and youre much older when they're grown. Just some things to consider.

I do not believe age is an issue assuming you are at least of legal age. You could be older too. The most important thing is have a solid relationship with God and then your husband and family. You may decide to have children a little later in life or maybe a little sooner.

My wife and I decided not to have children. Why? We thought that if we could not put 150% of our effort into a child's life, we are putting that child in a less than totally devoted family.

Would-be grandparents, like ours, want grand-children for selfish purposes, usually. Plan for a family if you are totally commited. If your situation cannot accommodate, simple do not.

When it comes to a child, it does come down to that. The child deserves all you can give. That is 100%. Then I would say add 50% more.

God Bless

Whatever age you're at when you:

* Have finished college
* Have a career established so that you have maternity/paternity leave built up
* Have a career with medical benefits
* Have a nice 401K
* Old enough that you no longer "hang out at the mall" like you/we did in high school
* Old enough that going out to clubs isn't a weekly event

No age, but maturity, responsibility are a must!

I think the best age to have a baby is after 25 years old. you can really enjoy the moments of your pregnancy and of your baby.

I was pregnant at 20 and gave birth at 21. I would have waited until after my 21st birthday so that I could party, but I would never take it back if I actually were given the chance. So after 21, but before 25.

I'm 30 and I just had my first child. I'm glad I waited. I feel like now i'm more financially ready, and more confident in my abilities. I felt like my 20's I was so busy being worried about myself and as soon as I turned 30, all those little things didn't matter as much and I feel like I can focus more on the baby.
