Most likely GTA 4 will take place in London. Yet, there are rumors that it would take place in Carcer City (the city in Manhunt). Tokyo is also a likely choice, though a rumor as well.

I know that they are currently making Grand theft Auto IV (4) and it is currently scheduled to be coming out around October 2007. There isn't any info yet on what city it will take place in.

There is talk about in-game advertising.
There might be that in the next GTA. Like McDonalds instead of the Chicken Bell, and the Pizza place. And instead of Zap, they would put an actual store.
Rockstar would be making money, and we would just know the places.

I don't know but I always thought a russian city would be cool. Moskow or some alternate name.
