Oh yeah, they come and go through your whole pregnancy. They usually last anywhere from 1~2 days for me. But, now here at the end, it is pretty constent. My Ob said it was from all the added pressure on your rectum. I hope this helped.
You can use some preparation H, and Tucks pads( I LOVE tucks pads, and come in handy after birth with stitches),
Good Luck!

I'm 22 weeks now & I have had them since around 7 weeks. They don't go away until possibly after the baby is here. I use a cream called "Nupercainal". I got it at Walgreens. I tried Preperation H. That didn't do the trick. I also take 2 fiber pills a day. That seems to help a little.
I know they suck, but it's something we just have to deal with. Good Luck!

From the 6th month of pregnancy I had it, whatever precautions I did to avoid it. It is due to the pressure of the enlraged abdomen and hormonal effects as well. They last untill 2 weeks after delivery or after a month at the maximum. What you have to do not to aggravate is to have enough fluids, more fruits and veges + avoid squatting. Iron tablets can cause constipation so extra care if you are taking them, compensate with bowel-regulating diets.

a hemorrhoid usually lasts 2-3 days with some treatment. This treatment can be preparation H ointment which works really well. This takes the pain away and helps to shrink the tissue.

Sometimes they don't go away! Hemmoroids are vericose veins in the anus. Doing kegel exercises will help to increase blood flow to the area promoting healing, so make sure you do them every day! You can use Preparation H products if they are uncomfortable. Make sure you eat a high fiber diet, b/c straining on the toilet can make them worse. Also, pushing during labor will make them worse.

Yes, and they do go away (unless you're one of the unlucky ones). I had one two weeks ago, and it only lasted a week. I kept myself clean and used those wipes you can buy at Wal-Mart or the drugstore. The wipes make it more bearable.

Go away??? I wish, I got a terrible one with my first daughter 9 years ago, and it is still there. They just go into hiding now and then to pop out when you least expect it. I wish I had better news for you, but that is the way it is.

i had mine from 5 months until the baby was born, and then developed a fissure which made it impossible to sit down without crying, that went away after two weeks.

They are terrible things. I had them with both my pregnancies. They don't go away they just get smaller. While you are pregnant though, the bigger the baby grows, the more pressure will cause the haemmroids to get bigger. Drink heaps of water and take Metamucil to soften your stools.
