Turning 50 can be hard especially for a woman. We don't like the idea of being a half century old!!! On my 50th my only daughter (she's a hair stylist, make up specialist) did my hair and make up after a trip to the spa then we went to lunch and shopping. Spending the day with my daughter was the best gift she could have gotten me. So the spa, hair and make up was just an added bonus. I hope she'll realize that this is most definitely the best time of her life. I'm enjoying 50 much more than I ever did 20, or 30. Happy Birthday to her!!!

Take her out for a day of special treatment at the spa. Get her a facial, manicure and pedicure. You want her to feel really good about herself and how she looks and this would be one good way to make sure she feels good.

Be happy that your daughter wants to make your 50th birthday special! Remember, 50 is only a number and it's better then the alternative.

Take her out to eat.....or send her some flowers around here they have them delivered by the flower shop and have black ribbons on it......or take her a sympathy card with money in it...she'll laugh over the sympathy card..
I hated that day as well!!!!!! My husb was going to rent a flashing sign out front like stores do and people do and I told him I would divorce him if he did.......he didn't
so something quiet and simple is better if she is dreading it also

Do something fun with her... Get a facial or pedicure and dinner... maybe a movie too... Be a friend to her that day, be like girls... laugh and be silly. Let her know that she is important to you.

i think the gift you should give her is to show that you can actually spell. i mean, you can't even spell MOM.
