I know they are hard to figure out b/c the 2nd line has to be just as dark as the first. I have been trying to concieve for 7 months now with my 2nd child. I also just had a miscarriage, now I am charting again. I am getting very used to the ovulation predictors. I have found that I will have no 2nd line at all a week before ovulation and at about 3 days before the line will start showing up and will get darker but does not usaully get as dark as the 1st line before it starts to get lighter again. I would suspect that the days it gets the darkest are the best days to try. I also chart so I know I am ovulating on the days that I get the darker lines. I know they suck, but I have not bought the fertility moniter yet b/c I am scared that I will buy it and get pregnant that cycle and waste a lot of money. I buy the dollar store ovulation tests, b/c the work just as well as the more expensive ones.

It really worked for me : ). I actually got pregnant and now I have a 7 months old baby girl. I bought the digital one (not the one with the lines that are really confussing). This one has a screen were a happy face appears when you are actually in your most fertile days. If you are not ovulating, an empty circle will appear. It is really really accurate. Check the Clearblue and First Response brands (I don't really remember the name of the brand) or look for the happy face icon I mentioned before. Good Luck and hope you get pregnant soon. Remember, don't ever get desperate. Stress will only avoid that you get pregnant.

Ovulation Prediction Kits work well when they are used in combination with fertility charting. If you don't know when to use them than they can become a serious expense.

If you monitor your temperature, cervical mucus and cervical position, you will than be able to use an OPK to check those signs and have a better idea of what your body is doing. Than OPK can be used fairly effectively. One of the big issues with these is that you can already have ovulated before it registers that you are ovulating.

try outcomes for any given product have a tendency to be maximum precise whilst consumer follows the particular instructions indexed via the producer. additionally, many reactions are temperature based. Above or under the try parameter would impact accuracy. call the producer's 800 quantity, and ask what departures from the specified technique are ideal.
