Hard to open radiator pressure cap, its 2001 chevy blazer, any tricks to open the cap, cant seem to get open?

Just trying to add fluid, but I cant open the cap, is there any reason, or any tricks to get it open?

you may need some extra leverage While pushing down , use a pair of channel locks to turn . just make sure the radiater is cold

dont open it hot, its under pressure
push in on the cap and turn anti-clockwise
also you should be able to add fluid through the overflow tank

push down firmly while turning counter clockwise.
