Im in middle school wrestling, so I want to learn the technique. I started this year and why do the wrestlers do this? How do you do it? I need technique help if this is important.

Middle school wrestling? Okay, let's see... Yes, if you control the head, you control everything else, but I would say go for the neck... And one good way is to use the half nelson when you get behind them... It's the sure fire way to win if you have a strength for submissions... It's my idea of how to win matches... I was in wrestling, it was my specialty when I wrestled... I won every single one of my matches with the half nelson

If you control the guys head, you control where he can/will move. Its a fact that where the head goes the body follows.
