This is NOT a question about film itself ~ it is about how things get on the web.

I haven't worked in the film industry for years, but I found almost 100 sites listed about me on the web. (I'm not talking about blogs or My Space or anything like that).

I just, on a whim, typed my own name in, and nearly fainted when instantly.....there I was, as though I were famous.

Damn! I thought, this is so bizarre...why am I here - and if I am, why don't "they" get it right?

Any ideas on how to either remove it, or at least correct it?

email the webmaster of the sites, maybe, and ask them to be removed

What kind of films are they? Are you embarassed or something. Did you sign waivers where the film copnaies could do with your films whatever they wanted?

It's like toothpaste, once it's out, there is no way to put it back. Just learn to live with it...
