Some say yes, some say no. I would prefer not to while I am pregnant. Why?= Any product with chemicals and scents usually contain "endocrine disruptor." This can cause unfavorable effects to the unborn. The fact is that we are already exposed to these "endocrine disruptor" in most of the things we use everyday - soaps, detergents, fabric softeners, tissues, perfumes, canned foods, and so on and so fort. My main point is to at least minimize exposure to things the we can possibly avoid while pregnant. It is a crucial stage for the unborn-the decision is up to your maternal feelings.

first of all, I would like to comment that I think its wonderful that you are finding out BEFORE you do it. So many mothers just do things without thinking of consequences to their child. I am a Nursing student and can vouch for the beauticians who think its NOT a good idea. We learned in class that hair dye, tanning beds, and tattoos are not recommended and can be dangerous. Although you didn't say you were pregnant ( I'm assuming ) but if you are- good-luck and congrats!

As the others answered, yes. Just not in the first trimester. Try not to use dyes with high ammonia though, use ones with more natural ingredients. And as always stay in a well ventilated area.

Yes its perfectly fine as long as you are in a well ventilated area. The only problem is sometimes your hormones prevent the color from setting as well as you might like.

for as long as it is after your first trimester, why not??? but i'd recommend you wait 'til you're almost nearing your third trimester, because hormones due to pregnancies can differ from person to person.
