Have you ever given a stupid answer on Yahoo Answers because you misunderstood the question? By accident? Or are all of your dumb answers done purposely (like sarcasm)?

YES!! YES!! A ZILLION TIMES!! I usually sneak back and quickly delete my stupid answer... I can't remember all the stupid answers I've given... but I have gone back and deleted the ones I felt really STUPID about.

HUH?? because the question was incredibly stupid and I truly had no idea how to answer it !
Oh and by the way...I got a violation notice for that !!!

I once answered a question on Yahoo! and I was completely clueless as to what the question was pertaining to. But...I simply wrote the question again up in Search, it took me to an answer, and I copied and pasted it in. To my surprise, the Asker immediately chose my answer as the Best Answer and gave me 5 stars, and to this day, I still don't know what I answered the question to. I think it had something to do with a video game (?).

I'll give dumb answer to dumb asker, not the question. You can see the asker profile and history to see if this person is dumb, pretend to be dumb, for just for fun, or a sincere asker.
Have fun is the main thing here for me. Sure, you can get good answer if you ask a truthful question.

the dumbest answer somone gave me was WHY SHOULD WE WORRY ABOUT YOUR CHEESE WE GOT BIGGER PROBLEMS...
by the way she misread my question cuz I never said it was a problem...I was asking if anyone had trouble peeling mozarella string cheese....I still eat it...duh...I don't answer questions until I have read them...so if I give a dumb answer its in sarcasm...not to hurt others...or be rude.
