That's a tough question.

I don't consider hope to be instinctual; because there are so many people lacking hope.

But neither would i consider it the ideal; because having hope is not enough; it is really just a catalyst for action, either of yourself or others.

Hope is the instict that an orphan child holds onto....it's all he had, and he's now 78 1/2 and believes HOPE is what makes the world go round.

Hope was instictive to this great man

Hope is ideal. A man's will to ACHIEVE what he hopes is instinctual.
