I really don't listen to too much of their style of music, though both were talented. Both were in a class of their own that will always be loved and missed by the music world. But I would have to say James Brown just because he was the ultimate entertainer that changed dance and music forever, he could dance. Even though I'm not really into that type of music, we wouldn't have the dances of Michael Jackson, Usher, or Chris Brown without James Brown.

Now that's a hard one because their voices are complete opposites. I mean you love to here JB beg and plead while Otis was just really mellow. But since you want me to choose, I pick Otis. I love his song "Change gon' come", but sadly can't find it on any of his CD's. It's not even on the Malcolm X soundtrack. I'm also a big fan of "Try a little tenderness".

Otis Redding!!!!!!!!!! I listened to his music way back in the late 60's eary 70's. Excellent music.
