Why do some people say that Kobe is better then D-Wade?

I think that's crazy! D-Wade has better overall stats them Kobe & better career playoff stats then Kobe.
This season:
Wade: 28.7 ppg, 7.9 apg, 4.9 rpg, 2.1 spg, 1.3 bpg, 49.2 FG%
Kobe: 28.6 ppg, 5.5 apg, 5.6 rpg, 1.4 spg, 0.4 bpg, 46.9 FG%

Career Playoffs stats:
Wade: 25.4 ppg, 5.1 rpg, 6.0 apg
Kobe: 22.9 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 4.5 apg

This years matchups Wade dominated Kobe
X-Mas game:
Wade 40 points 11 assist, and Kobe was holding Wade.
Kobe 16 points, clearly got shot down:

Wade: 35 points, and Kobe was holding Wade.
Kobe: 25 points

They both faced the Pistons in a playoff series and Wade did better.

for the simple fact that kobe is better than wade. And i live in detroit. Last years playoffs were a scam. Wade was getting everything called his way. Kobe faced a very focused pistons team in 04. The pistons defense in 04 might have been the best ever. Ben wallace was fired up the whole team was. Now taking you back to last year, Ben wallace was mad at flip because they didn't include him in the offense that much, and the pistons were tired from winning 60 plus regular season games, it showed even against milwaukee.

don't flatter wade too much because if you look back at the bucks pistons series Michael Redd had similar stats against the pistons defense I believe he even dropped around 40 on them one game. And for the record that call at the end of the finals last year was a ghost call, the mavs were robbed. wade was never touched on the drive to the basket.

yes he is a very good player but he has a long way to go to be considered better than Kobe. sorry. it's true, I don't like kobe personally the way he acts and some things he says make me sick at times, but he is still above wade.

Actually, most people who aren't miami apologists don't think that Kobe is better... they know.
You want stats? How about these two:
25/26 vs 30/22 - that's the win/loss ratio of their two teams this season. And before you start on "yeah, but no shaq in Miami", don't make me laugh. Love Shaq, but the big fella is clearly beyond his best days. Kobe's missing way more than Wade is talent wise.
Clearly Wade is great talent, and is clearly the best player on the Miami team.
He also clearly gets a helluva lot of assistance from those officiating games.

Because of what Kobe can do and what Wade can't. Kobe is averaging low in playoff stats because he was not really an option in his rookie season unlike wade. Kobe started from the bench and earned his reputation of playing good basketball in his second season. He was like the third or fpurth option in the lakers team in his rookie season with Eddie Jones, Van Exel and Shaq..

Kobe achieved a lot more than Dwade but Dwade will get there..

keep in mind that those playoff stats for wade are inflated. Hes had far fewer games in the playoffs than kobe. plus, Kobe hadnt been healthy when those games had fully taken place, plus, shaq is out, which means wade has the ball every time down the court. A .1 point differential is nothing much. Kobe is on a lot better team than wade right now, because shaq is out. with bynum, odom, smush parker, and walton, he is on the more complete team. Wade has shaq (injured), antoine walker, and udonis haslem. i wouldnt call that a complete team. wade is very good, but he is not nearly the basketball player as kobe. kobe is a douchebag though.

Yeah, I agree with you. I think people think kobe is better than wade probably because if you look at the career stats kobe's are a little more impressive, but if you compare them in the last few seasons wade is a much better team player
