Yea...i have thought that since Dec. 1,the last big snow,my time in Illinois is very short,gotta be someplace better.....Florida does sound good right now.
Global warming my azz.....lol

Well I lived in Goldcoast Chicago for many years...if you need to ask that question, then either you despise cold weather or you do *not* take advantage of all that Chicago has to offer.
Chicago is the closest the US comes to a New York City in terms of theater, arts, nitelife, and culture. It is drastically cheaper than the Northeast and West Coast. If such things do not matter to you, and you insist on hot weather, your best bet is Atlanta- great city, growing like crazy, very affordable.

well there are a number of reasons .
1. you were born there.
2. you never thought about leaving .
3 no where to go dont know any one in another state.
4 you like it there and just want to whine about cold.

You like the change of seasons,there are some of the most beautiful women in the world here,the Taste of Chicago,we have two baseball teams,etc.

I don't know, but my mother and her parents lived in Murphysboro where she was born and grew up there.She liked it there, We now live in Pennsylvania,and we are having a huge snowfall right now. Sorry I mentioned snow!!
