I'm trying to figure out where I can go to download songs in mp3 format to use in a video slide show I'm making for my father in laws birthday using Nero Photoshow. I've tried yahoo, itunes and some thing called emusic. I've now paid for all of them, and their files that I download are not in mp3 format. I'm lost. Can anyone help me? I want the song from Top Gun, We are family, forever in blue jeans etc... corny but hopefully pop will like it...

You can always change it manually. Go to the destination folder for your music, click on Tools at the top > Folder Options...>View> and untick ''Hide extentions for known file types''
Then go to rename the music, and put .MP3 at the end.

Maybe you have itunes in your computer and all of the mp3 files are converted to itunes files. So you might wanna uninstall the itunes.
