As someone who lives regularly outside of the US, I have to say yes.
Things weren't so favourable before the war, but now the outsider view of America has gone downhill even further. I went to a private school, and our teachers, who came from all over the world, would openly smirk at the US. It wasn't anything that was outright bashing - they would go to the US for vacation or something - but they just, well, the didn't think highly of you guys. We had a boy from Boston transfer in, really patriotic, and it used to drive him nuts. The United States was viewed as, well, it's difficult to describe - not intelligent? Rash? Violent? Too Patriotic? That sort of thing. I don't want to say it is like that, but if someone said something about how great it was there, you just smirked.
I remember being away in Europe, as well, and seeing a lot of anti-US grafitti as well.
I'm not saying any of it is right, or that I agree with it - but it's definitely less popular than it was when it was 'the land of freedom'. Now that other countries are getting rich as well, they can turn up their noses and the US offers less than it used to. It's no longer the only shining beacon of hope, there's plenty out there that are just as - if not more - stable.
EDIT: It might be different in the poorer countries, but in the wealthier developed nations - ie - the UK, France, Japan, etc. I'm referring to.

No, I just think there are some people in this world who are more apt to point fingers rather than see what the real issues are. And considering the continual flow of immigrant, I dont think were going to loose popularity any time soon.

Less popular? With 20 million illegal aliens walking around and more pouring in each day?
Other people are just jealous of us Americans. They hate us and fear us for what we represent.

NOPE. Not in the least. I believe I heard on ABC that this may be a record year for immigration.

No, but the media, who hates their own country, wants to make the public think it.
