The full list of declarations of war by the US in WWII:
USA voted to declare war on Japan on Dec. 8, 1941 by a vote of 388-1 in the House and 82-0 in the Senate.
They declared war on Germany and Italy Dec. 11, 1941 after the two nations declared war on the US.
They declared war on Bulgaria, Romania, and Hungary June 5, 1942. (all of which were dominated by Nazi Germany)
So by June 5, 1942 the United States was fully entered into the war.

Japan declared War at Pearl Harbor 12-7-41. The US declared war on Japan the next day, 12-8-41.

Arguably, the US became involved in WW2 March 11, 1941 when the Lend-Lease act was passed. As well, in June of '41 the USS Greer fired on a German U-boat.
