You will probably not like what I have to say to you, but really think about it. How else would you learn all that you need to survive in today's world. There are virtually no jobs which don't require some skill you will have learned in school. I have one question for you! What else do you think kids would be doing if they were not going to school? Over a 100 years ago, they worked in factories, mines, in the fields, washing other people's laundry, sweeping streets including horse poop, selling newspapers, cleaning chimneys, sewing clothes 14 hrs a day.... Do any of these appeal to you? Or would you like to work as an engineer, doctor, computer designer, lawyer, accountant....take your pick - they all require an education. Heck, you can't even work at McDonalds without at least a grade 12 diploma. So, no, school is not ever pointless.

Well it depends on how u look @ it. with the way the world is today right now u don't (need) an education if you want to do manual labor, some pays good but for real good money u need to go to school and get titles from collage. With how fast the world is moving technology Wise you will need a title for people to even considering hiring you

not at all! with out school you would never know all the knowledge you hve today. "those who don't know history are bound to repeat it." If no one learned about the civil war or WWII, it could very easily happen again. If you don't have math skills, how do you keep up with you accounting and bills? Plus, every human has the instinct to strive for knowledge. We're all curious and we want answers. We want to know how things work. If there was no school, we'd be back to pre-mayan society or whatever. we'd be living life cavemen!

No. It's not. An education is important for getting a good job and making the world a more educated place. Without school what would we know?
