Ellen's current girlfriend, Portia, is a lesbian. I am a lesbian who personally never would date a bisexual because yes, I would fear if they were being monogamous or not.

Some lesbians fear it, I guess, but bisexuals are just as capable of being in a loving, committed relationship as anyone else. Just because they can be attracted to both genders doesn't mean they need to be with both to be happy.
