I am looking for some quality work socks for my husband, who does construction work. He needs something with a good thick cushion and something that will stay up. Does anyone have any recommendations?

'Darn Tough' socks are the absolute best I have found. They are made in Vermont. Cool in the summer; warm in the winter. Great cushioning and they never wear out. They are very expensive, $17.95 a pair on Amazon, but they have a lifetime guarantee, "no-questions-asked." I highly recommend making this investment! And I don't work for them. I'm just a very satisfied customer. Www.Dartmouth.com

As a Podiatrist I would suggest a sock that is made of natural wool fibers in high percentages, above 75%. Wool wicks moisture and resists microbial growth more than cotton or synthetics. Look at Woollow.com.
