What color tie with a pink shirt or a pale yellow shirt?

Question

I have all kinds of nice clothes but haven't the slightest idea of how to match them. My question is what color pants to wear with a pink shirt as well as what color tie. No suit involved. Also, if I decided to go with a pale yellow shirt, what color pants and tie. Can I just wear khakis? Thanks.

Brown or gray pants and a tie with would go with the pink shirt. Black or dark tan with the yellow shirt. Wear a tie with colors in it that match your outfit. Either a Brown tie or a brown tie with maybe some pink in it for your brown/pink outfit....gray tie with pink for that outfit. Same with the yellow outfit. :)

The khakis go with pink but not the pale yellow. Black pants go with both of them. And as for the tie, a white tie goes with both. You could also go with a black tie with either shirt if you wanted.

For a pink shirt, I'd go with a gray and pink striped tie, with gray slacks.

For a yellow shirt, I'd go for neutral colors, not too bold. Maybe brown or gray.

Try going to Express Men or Men's Wearhouse and ask some of the salespeople. They usually give good advice and might suggest a great looking tie.

khaki okay for the yellow but blue or grey pants probably better with the pink..so many tie color choices, get one that has the color of both the shirt & pants (striped or paisely)..or just wear a t-shirt underneath and top 2 buttons unbuttoned & no tie.

navy blue pants w/ navy blue tie will go with both.
black pants w/ black tie will go with both.
Where are you going? Is it dressy? don't know if khakis would be good enough or ok. But then what color tie? hmm.
I would stick with either the blue or the black.
Maybe chocolate brown for both too. But I'd prefer the blue or black.

a pale yellow color (im guessing sort of buttery looking) will go very nicely with a navy blue tie, a pink shirt (im guessing pale/baby pink) will go very nicely with black or grey!

if you're doing light colored tops, i would stick with darker bottoms. as for the tie, you can get away with many different styles, even if it is not the color of your shirt. if you really aren't sure, just ask someone in the store or look at their displays for ideas
