Alaska is the westernmost state in mainland United States.

Washington is the westernmost state in the continguous states, Cape Flattery being the northwestern point.

Is Wake Island part of Hawaii? If so then Hawaii goes further west than Alaska, if not then Alaska gets the nod with the Aleutian Islands.
