This depends if you are acting as the merchant or as the affiliate. To me, being the merchant is a lot of work and you really need a small army of experts to ensure it runs smoothly. There are plenty of good affiliate programs where you can use your porn site to drive the traffic to the paid sites and earn a commission. This "back door" (no pun intended) approach can be very lucrative.

If you know what you are doing, your chance of failure is slim. I mean, I've got a midget porn site and it rocks - just think what you can do with a regular one.
