Communisim does not work in practice. In writing it sounds interesting. But I am a capitalist and hate communism and everything related to it. Cuba has been a failure in the eyes of free world. The only nation Cuba does not trade with is the United States, they have great cigars, and you can get those in other countries. You can fly into Cuba from other countries without any problem. Their health care is considered very good, I have not had the pleasure of trying that, no intentions of doing that. Poverty is a big thing in Cuba. The artists, sports and political figures are the wealthy in their country. Fidel Castro is dying when he dies the socialist world will imortalize a corrupt dictator who kept the most powerful nation in the the world at arms length since 1959. Not even the Soviet Union or China were able to do that. And we have a base there!!!

Any second someone is actually going write that Cuba has "free health care". That always cracks me up.

Other than Cuban people getting good practice swimming while they are escaping the country, can't really think of any positives. (except for that wonderful "free health care")

Communism is a joke. A welfare state. It has nothing to offer anyone but enslavement.
