Does the house of Representative or those the senate elect its own officers?

what section of the constition. I need help on a government project also it could br both the Senate and the House of Rep. also if u now if any of the two have the power to impeach government officials. thanks

These are covered by the Constitution.

Each house of congress sets its own rules. So, both the house and senate chooses its own officers. The exception is that the Vice President is the President of the Senate.

Either house may expel a member.

The house impeaches government officials. The senate must convict the impeached official.
