A Government of elected officials who work for the good of the country. Where Special interest Groups, Lobbyists, and so called donations from big business to personal campaign funds are eliminated. Where the Elected officials actually listen to the people and not the above.
Eliminate the IRS and implement the Fair Tax act H.R.25.

I'm not sure that is possible. It is one of the reasons that we are a representative republic and not a democracy. As to the rest of your question... government should be no bigger than necessary to provide for the physical protection of it's citizens (law enforcement, military) and to keep the roads and other infrastructure in good condition. Anything more is excessive.

Good answer Ruth S. Everyone seems to forget that the criminal laden country of Afghanistan harbored terrorists and terrorist training camps, including the terrorist that attacked us. Not just the Trade Center on 9/11, but other attacks around the world. Personally I think all of Islam is suspect. Read Sura 9 in the Quran and ask any rag head if he subscribes to it. Damned scary isn't it?

The ability for all people to retify the constitution, then elect officials, and run for office.
But a Democratic Government, means the people vote for every bill, law and ammendment

A good government should balance the power between the little guy and the big guy.
In our government they advocate the big guy taking his business elsewhere, leaving the little guy holding the bag.
