No. It may marginally save you some water. But it will waste your money heating to an unnecessary temperature. And run the risk of accidental scald injury.

There is no such thing as a hot water heater. If the water were hot you wouldnt need a heater. However the setting on a water heater has no effect on water flow.

first things first.... it isnt a " hot water heater" it is a water heater.
if the water were allready hot why would you need to heat it????

second.... no the temp at which you set the thermostat on the water heater will have no efect on flow.
