Ive so far been let down by 2 plumbers, 2 plasterers & an electrian. All were given the go ahead, & they gave me a date/time when they were starting but none turned up. Ive lost days from work waiting in for these guys & none could even bother ringing me to let me know they werent going to turn up.

You must have some terrible luck with tradesmen I have been lucky all the trades I have called have got here early been willing to have a chat and a joke and explain to me exactly what they are doing one plumber even took the time to show me how to solder a copper pipe correctly I can weld and braze ok but soldering pipes has always been a problem for me but now I can do the job myself if need be ! I personally find that friends who offer to do a job for you tend to be less reliable even when you offer to pay for their skills and time even if you offer them something for nothing they never seem to turn up and take the thing you want to give them I have a Yamaha 350 LC in my garage taking up space I told my friend he could have it if he wanted it he said I will pick it up in the morning 6 months later it is still in the garage !!!!!!!
