Mark your bolts and the strut so you can put the bolts back in the exact same position so you don't have to do a front alignment. But I don't think the Probe has any adjustment other than toe....it's all squared from the factory like a Mazda 626. Take the brakes off and take the axle nut off. Then take the tie rod end loose, take the hub assy loose from the strut. The axle should pop out. You may have to take the hub off of the lower ball joint but I think you can just disassemble the subframe. When the hub is out of the way, the axle just pops out. Be very careful. Good luck.

This is not a do-it-yourself project - you may need special tools to remove the knuckles, tie rod ends, lower ball joints.

i own a repair shop,and you need to go and get a good repair manual on this one,its a little too complicated to try and explain on here,i have owned 4 of those cars ,and if you,ll get the manual it will describe in full details with pics also of how to do this,good luck ,i hope this help,s.
