I saw a pic of Paul Newman a couple of years ago and the picture looked really modern because it just him in a regular button down shirt lying in some grass. I was like who is that he is absolutely gorgeous! Then I realized that's not some new actor that's Paul Newman so I am going to have to go with him even though now he looks like a grandpa. Because I've seen old movies with Robert Redford who kind of looked like Brad Pitt a little then, but he was definitely not as hot as Paul.

Paul Newman burns up the screen in Hud, the Long Hot Summer, Cool Hand Luke. It is his voice, his eyes, his smile, his way of moving. He has the great talent of involving you in his characters and actually having an opinion about them. I loved the Verdict for just these reasons. Redford does not have the same appeal, although he is handsome his talent does not reach Newman's. Sexy is more than mere physical looks!

A guy's opinion is that in the heydey Paul had the look that drove more women wild--my mother has loved him for years--Everyone mentions his eyes, the key is that he smiles with his eyes and he's a tough bastard in all of his films--the guy everyone wanted to be--You keeping thinking Butch that's what you do best. If you want to talk today though, I was jealous of Redford in the movie "the Last Castle", the man has held up well.

I think this answer would depend on the age factor lmao,if memory serves me correctly I would say Robert Redford...Mel Gibson and Sam Elliot were my heartthrobs of the 80's but now they are getting up there so hmmm...Ben Afleck still makes me smile lol
