Yeah I've used that a lot. But it's gettin a tad old. S***. Nobody believes me anymore. Just last night I got pulled over by Deputy Earl. Nervous little feller. Always gotta have his hand on that little gun of his.
So anyways, he's all het up about somebody stealing the Mary Kay stickers off of his wife's car. Acourse he blames me. You ever seen his wife? That is one unsightly woman. People take one look at her and there aint no way on Gods earth they gonna by beauty products from her. Believe you me.
What was your question again? Oh yeah. Sorry. I'm still a little bent about last night. So, he asked me if I'd done it. The first thing out of my mouth, force of habit, was "I didn't do it".
Didn't work. Didn't think it would anyway. Seeing as how I had those silly stickers on the seat of my truck. So's I just pointed to Ole Ernie (that's my dog) and said "He did it". Now ya gotta understan, Ole Ernie can lick the paint off a fire plug (when he's not humpin it) so it wasn't too big a stretch to think he coulda licked those stickers off that ol biddies car.
Worked out OK though. Ole Ernie got the hint and just ate em. Deputy Earl has it out for me now, but that's nothing new.
