I dont know if it is worth it to tell my friend (acquaintance really) that I have wanted to be friends with their group for years and I regret that I havent so much and I hate myself for it. Because I think this is my last chance to get in their group of friends because I was so shy the last time they were inviting I think they think I just want to be acquaintances now. I lost my chance to get in normally and should that mean I lost my chance forever? I also dont want to lose my reputuation as a quiet person, which I worked pretty hard to get people to think, but nobody likes me anymore because I dont talk, except the kids in my senior class who know me better. But theres only 3 months left of school, and I know either way I go I'm going to regret something. I'm just not a happy person. But they make me happy for a while whenever Im with them.

If you enjoy hanging out with the group, then, yes, go for it! I was a loner all throughout high school, and I wish I'd had the chance to be a part of a group of friends. Don't stress it, though--there's no need for that! Just ask your friend if you can hang out with her gang more often. From experience, people will probably enjoy being with you and hearing whatever you want to say! I like hanging out with people who don't talk 24/7, because when they do open their mouths, something worthwhile always comes out. Good luck, and enjoy your senior year! :)

If there's only 3 months left in school, don't worry about it. After school is out they'll probably go their seperate ways, & not see each other again, or only @ reunions. U have ur own friends, stick with them, it's better that way. It sounds to me as tho these girls have their own "clique", & that's not good, too many girls r left out, & made to feel bad, don't be 1 of them. I'm like u, I was very shy in school & didn't talk much either, but I grew out of it & so will u. Good Luck!

hey don't hate yourself for it, just don't try too hard in trying to fit in. if you want to be thieir friend and in their group, why don't you try inviting them out or something, its your turn to make the second move now they already made the first, when they invited you

Quit taking life so serious, go ahead and hang out with everyone once in a while. If they have a problem THEY HAVE A PROBLEM.
