I am in a dilema, my ex just lost his dad, am still very close to his family but he's now married and his wife can't stand the site of me as we've remained friends but due to the tension he kept a low profile which I respect. Now at this time of tragedy, how can I convey condolence without causing any harm to all parties. His sister is my best friend and am close to his mum. I wish not to cause any anguish at this time.

We only broke up due to distance as neither of us was willing to relocate. Please give fair answers.

I think sending a card would be a good idea, he will know you're thinking of him (which is a comfort in itself) and his wife won't feel too threatened. But you are right to tread carefully - it's her place to comfort him publicly now.

How can one console an ex? I did so by talking to mine over the phone when she had her DILEMMA. Now, is this a philosophical question, or a question for Family & Relationships?

Send a card of Agape love with your condolences and let them know you will be praying for them if you’re a believer.
Let God handle it for he knows best of all.

if his wife can't stand seeing you then the best things to do are to call him or to send him a card that says your feelings inside of it.

Forget about him and get on with your life. You're only going on about him because it fuels your self-loving ego.
