I mean street dunkers are so much smaller, typically about 5-10 to 6-4 and their dunks are WAAAYY SICKEEERR then NBA dunkers who are like 6-6 and above for most of them...

Kadour Ziani 5-10 : 360 over 3 guys, double windmill

Spyda 6-1 : under the leg armpit in the rim dunk

Air up there 6-2 : 720 and a whole lot of sick dunks!!!

and what can our NBA dunkers do??

You have to understand that theres more to dunks in basketball. Street ballers only spend their time working on dunks while NBA players, work on jump shots, conditioning, strength, adding weight (which lowers hops), and many other things. You'll notice that street ballers have HORRIBLE defense and also that they're all skinny like James White is. You see James White in the NBA and his crazy dunks, but he isn't getting any playing time. Its cuz hops isn't everythign to get into the NBA.

Think about the best dunkers in the NBA. Vince, kobe, j rich all these guys have so much more than dunks. all can shoot have exceptional court sense and ability to make clutch plays. these guys have discipline and work on the detailed aspects of the game. street dunkers only have the street. the only way you can get anywhere is to be flashy. you only play offense for half a game...

These guys you mentioned has nothing to lose. If they get injured during attempting a dunk, they have nothing to lose, no responsibilities to the team unlike nba players. Big stars in the NBA don't go for slam dunk competitions anymore in fear of getting injured. Have you seen Tony Allen attempt a dunk and then fell down awkwardly? he's out for the season. Also, you haven't seen these NBA players dunk on practice or dunk in an unofficial nba game..

That's exactly the reason whybthey are not in the NBA..

Can you imagine if an NBA player tried one of those dunks and would miss it and cause a game...?? they have alot 2 lose compared to street ballers..also, most of the dunks and moves that street ballers do including AND 1 players..would be considered a travel in the NBA

Common sense.... street ballers don't always play on a regulation sized court that's why! NBA is 10 feet, Street court is between 9 feet 4inches - 9ft 8inches. Street ballers take muscle enhancing drugs as well and in the NBA you have guys like D wade who take them and Deny it by hiring his own doctor for drug tests. Besides I've played on both courts many many times, so don't bother arguing.

YES! Dwight Howard is by far the most powerful dunker (he broke a shot clock), then Vince Carter, then Shaq, then James, then Kenyon Martin.

cuz the street guys only focus on the flashier points like ball handling and dunking and not the finer points life free throw shooting, defending, and well basketball. the street guys typically are entertainers before ball players

The truth about 'The Truth' comes out: he's short. Short guys are always fixated on dunking.

Nba players probably could do that, but they are all business..., street ballers are all about having fun and showing off
