The answer to this question is no, especially if your computer has an express slot. Check with the tech support to find out which cards are compatible. Otherwise you may end up having to buy an adapter which is not easy to find.

if you have a newer laptop and wireless router then you want a wireless b = 11 mbs or g= 54 mbs transfer rate

well they all clam the same speed 802.11b/g but there are different brands out there so it depends on what kind of processor you get so if you have a intel processor you get a intel wireless card and im not sure what kind of card you get with AMD but it's not intel
